43nd Annual Montgomery People’s Prom
May 28 @ 8:00 pm - 11:55 pm| $40
It’s a Montgomery tradition. If you didn’t get a chance to enjoy your high school prom this is your chance to relive that event. Each year the Montgomery People’s Prom — complete with theme, live music, dancing and fun — brings out everyone from the town – and even beyond – to spend the evening socializing, dancing and more.
Next year’s theme won’t be chosen until next spring, but don’t wait: Make sure to book your room with us for the weekend (we will fill up), and plan on having great fun!
Some tips for those who’ve never attended but want to:
- Dress is either formal (think tuxedos and prom dresses) or in a costume that adequately reflects the theme.
- Event is held at the Montgomery Town Hall, just five doors down from the Phineas Swann.
- Event is BYOB. Feel free to imbibe if it makes the event more fun. But overindulging is highly frowned on. Should you forget to bring something, the Snowshoe Pub is right next door.
- At midnight, a wonderful spread of food is laid out, donated by area restaurants (and by your favorite bed and breakfast, of course)
