The Dining Room
Able to host dinner parties for 30, and receptions for up to 75, our sunlight-bathed Dining Room is great for breakfasts, dinners, civil union and wedding rehersal dinners, anniversary celebrations and receptions.
The highlight of our dining area are two huge hand-carved 1880s oak sideboards, 9 feet tall, and each weighing in at over 2,000 pounds.
Each morning at 7 am, we cover this piece with huge helpings of breads, cereals, juices, coffee and tea, and a large selection of sliced fresh fruit – a perfect breafast option for early risers or for those adventurers who want to hit the slopes in winter or bike and hike in the summer.
Hot breakfast is served between 7 am and 9 am in winter and between 8:30 and 9:30 am in the summer months. Breakfast can be served a little later on request, and there’s always so much delicious food that many of our guests have told us they haven’t been hungry for lunch during their day. However, with a little bit of notice, we can also provide packed lunches for a nominal fee if you plan to be out and about.
Our breakfast specialties include raspberry stuffed French toast, huge country omelets, massive strawberry waffles and our famous banana walnut pancakes.
Our large country kitchen has enough storage capacity to easily serve over 50 guests for dinner if needed.
