The American Cancer Society needs participation in beating our biggest rival (cancer) and it takes more than breakthrough research. It takes things like our 24/7 cancer help line and free rides to chemo. This event brings the community together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, have fun on the mountain & raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.
Did you know that 50 percent of all men and 1/3 of all women who are alive RIGHT NOW will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives? A lot of progress has been made but there’s more work to be done so we can live in a world without cancer and that’s why the American Cancer Society and events like Hope on the Slopes exist. One day, we’ll be able to say we beat cancer. But to make that happen, it’s going to take all of us working together.
A big part of the work is FUNdraising and Hope On The Slopes is made possible by the support of sponsors, teams, donors and volunteers.
